Refai Public School is a dream, a vision!
Located in the remote hamlet- Boru, the school is dedicated to educating the underprivileged and everyone who seeks to learn. It's a school that works towards igniting young minds.

From a humble beginning to soaring for the skies....

Starting with a two room facility to teach kids in the year 2012, slowly through collaborative efforts, the school today has 30 fully furnished classrooms, one computer lab, an AV room and a collection of over 800 books for the library.

The school is committed to providing Free Education, Books and Meals to its 460 students at present.

Dear Yusuf, we at Refai Public School were indeed ecstatic on your arrival. You instilled in our children the joy and happiness of meeting a celebrity, an opportunity which they will cherish all their lives. You pumped up their dreams and aspirations like the strokes you make on the field enthralling thousands of fans. Your encouragement has given the children something to look forward to and a purpose to fulfil their goals. Samarjitsinh Gaekwad at Annual Function


9th March 2018
At the Annual Function of the school in the year 2018, the guest of honour was Samarjitsinh Gaekwad, a cricket administrator and a former first-class cricketer and a descendant of the former ruling family of the princely state of Baroda during the British Raj. He was astounded on seeing the children perform and congratulated the entire team at RPS. The school set up between the fields and the river nearby got him nostalgic about his own schooling Doon. We at Refai Public School are grateful to your Majesty Maharaja Samarjitsinh Gaekwad of Baroda for sparing your precious time and granting us an audience with you despite your commitments.

3rd August 2014
Irfan Pathan, a former Indian cricketer visited the school when the school building was still under construction. He was flattered by the idea of setting up an English medium school at such a remote village and was more amazed to see the enthusiasm of the children to learn and participate in sports. He emphasized the parents to make 100% attendance at the school possible. “..I still consider it very unfortunate that I couldn’t get an all throughout English education during my learning years but here at this village, you are lucky to have an English medium school that is going an extra mile to cater to not just the academic but extracurricular needs of the students as well. I request the parents to make the most of it.”
